Funny thing is, her boss still has credibility to tens of millions. That’s the big issue.

I think she has made it clear that she is only conveying what she is given. It is not her credibility that she ruins if it is false, it is that of the people who give her what she is to present. Giving her the wrong things to say reflects badly on her bosses, not her. As for how she feels about what she is subjected to, she’s a big girl and will resign if/when she’s had enough.

Well if she says she is truthful as far as she knows, then I guess I’ll take her at her word until I know otherwise, and whatever she says doesn’t land on her. If she’s lying, well that’s something she has to live with. In my mind, it’s like being a lawyer. An attorney is ethically obliged to represent his client as best he can with the information he has, as long as he is not knowingly giving false information. If he is given false information for that purpose that he did not know was false, he is still ethically solid and unstained as far as his profession goes.

Personally, if I found out my employer was giving me BS to feed to the clients/public and I found out about it, I would be out the door faster than I could finish saying “fuck you.” But that’s me.

David brooks had an interview, “in 2016 I was talking to a number of people, who were applying for jobs and I found myself saying 2 very different things. To people I personally knew, “you might want to think how this will show up on your resume”, and those I didn’t know, “you have to make your own choice”.

This was after charlottesville, “do these people realize, at some point they will be looking for a job?”

On trumps first day Spicer went out and made a fool of himself, so she knew what she was getiing into. I just can’t comtemplate how someone can go out there, pretty much knowing that within 24 hours there is a good chance your boss is going tweet or say something contadictating and making you lok like a fool.
